Historic Homes Tour - 2010

The 17th Annual Mount Clemens Historical Homes Tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 9, 2010

Tours begin at 9:00 a.m. and run every 20 minutes thru 2:00 p.m. Each tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Tourists are taken by bus to each site. Buses depart from the Roskopp Parking Lot next to the Anton Art Center, 125 Macomb Place, Mount Clemens.

TICKETS $12 per person

Tickets will be available September 1st at the Mount Clemens Public Library 150 Cass Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Tickets can be purchased for $15 on the day of the tour at its starting point - 125 Macomb Place.

To purchase advance tickets by mail, please send a check or money order made payable to Mount Clemens Historical Commission ($12 per ticket) to:

Please state your first and second choices for the tour time you would like.

Tour times are 9:00 am, 9:20 am, 9:40 am, 10:00 am, and every 20 minutes thereafter until 2:00 pm.

Annual Historic Homes Tour - 2008

Homes Tour 2008

As each group started out, they anxiously awaited the historic homes and church they were about to tour. The Anton Art Center was the starting point of our 15th Annual Historic Homes Tour this year held on June 14th. Groups of 18 were taken to each site by bus beginning at 9:00 a.m., with a new group starting out every 20 minutes until 2:40 p.m. Bus guides each took their group through the entire tour and then back again to the Anton Art Center to see the exhibits or visit their gift shop. Docents showed those on tour through each site telling interesting stories about the past and present. Everyone enjoyed the houses and had a great time.
